Bhd., a leading Bumiputra multi-modal forwarding and transport organization, which was incorporated in 1981. Our Core Business Megalift’s core business is the transportation of heavy and oversized cargoes, lifting and installation, crane rigging, barging and chartering of ships and specialized equipment. Megalift has one of the Goldhofer hydraulic multi-axle modular trailers (80 axle lines) in South East Asia and heavy duty prime movers, mobile cranes, self-propelled portable hydraulic gantry system (1,600 ton capacity), barges tugs, and many anxilliary equipment. Megalift’s associate, offers full range of multi-modal forwarding and transport services and facilities encompassing customers clearance, sea/air freight, general/container/bonded transport, warehousing, industrial packing and marine insurance. Megalift collectively have a work force of 400 covering a domestic network of offices in Port Klang (HQ), Subang Airport, Subang Jaya, Penang Airport, Georgetown, Ipoh, Pasir Gudang, Kuantan and Kemaman etc. This joint strength effectively places Megalift in a unique position as the most versatile heavy transport operator with most expertise for the entire logistical requirements of projects however complex they are. Thus, Megalift is able to offer a total transport package from door to door under one roof and one responsibility as valued added service to clients.

Megalift is the first Malaysian very own heavylift company to have won regional acceptance as evidenced by its recent transformers in Paiton, Indonesia and the award of a contract to move 9 units each of 1,100 ton bridge-decks in Hong Kong in 1995. As a result of this international exposure, Megalift has built up a reliable network with overseas partners to lend support to them whenever required, with the aim to service common clients.
